Renting a Dyno Shop

Anyone know how much dyno shops in the area charge to rent it out or the day.

I think if we could get 12-15 people it would be worth it.

Anyone interested?

If you can get 10~ Woodbridge Dynotech will do 3 baseline pulls for like $50 bucks! Typically dyno's dont just rent out there facilities....they just offer group rates!

We had a group get the dyno for a day for $500 at Rosen Autosport here in Richmond.

We're moving to a new shop next week and within a month we will be getting a dyno. If you guys want to wait and see how things pan out I may be able to get us some time.

I would be interested, but I don't think I'm getting my transmission in until next week. It's going to have a B&M high stall TC, and a B&M shift kit. I have some headers I want to get in too, but I probably won't be able to afford it by then.

Please don't tell me that you've already got the B&M Torque convertor yet, Matt!!?? Those things love to come apart. We've had more than a few come into the shop in pieces. And they have a tendency to send bits of the broken parts through the tranny and take the tranny out with it. You should have let me know. We have a guy that's local that builds all of our convertors and we've put them in the fastest LS1 and LT1 in the country!

from reading the boards, b&m tc's suck.

my friend has one in his '65 stang and has held up fine, but the car only runs 14s too.

The guy who does our convertors loves for us to take him the broken B&M's, Yanks, and TCI convertors so he can cut them open and see what happened. Then he puts them on display in his office for everyone to see. Usually its the cheap bearings that they put in them that come apart and with the Yanks it the bearings and the fins inside the convertor that bend.
