doubt I'll have a new tranny in by then

it's pointless to race it the way it is.

At the meet I tried manually shifting with no luck, it went to 6500 in 1st gear, so I had to shift right into OD and it just lost all power.

So what exactly is failing on it...? Did you check the kick down cable?

cable is set correctly.

I used to have full manual control of shifting, now it won't shift into 2nd when I try.

When taking off normally, part throttle in OD, it won't shift into 2nd till about 3500 rpms, and then it seems like it shifts right past 2nd into 3rd.

i dont think theyre open this Wed (the 2nd). at least thats what the schedule says. apparently they will be open on Fri the 4th... i plan on going down then to see if the Vettes gremlins have disappeared. kinda weird theyd be open on the 4th of July, but oh well... theyre probably wont be alot of people there and i should get a good amount of runs in

If it does rain tommarrow ( I hope that it doesn't), Then I'm rescheduling to July 23rd. We could do MIR too since they are open every wednesday night for test and tune i think, but they are $30 vs $12.

We're going down to MIR tonight with a bunch of the shop cars. Hopefully looking for a 9 second pass out of our sponsored car . I think MIR is by far the best track around, even though it's a little bit of a drive.

that sucks about your Vette Mad-Mic. WTF is wrong with those bastards? if they couldnt get it in on Monday, why did they tell you to bring it in then?!

the rain is closing in, but im still going to try to make it down... the bulk of the storm is below Cecil, so maybe well get lucky and itll just miss us

damn bastards this is why i hate dealerships. if it wasn't under warrenty i would of took it to my friends shop.

The warranty is the reason they're taking so long. They're putting all of the paying jobs ahead of you. I know how it goes, I worked at a dealership.....for 3 months until I got tired of the BS and quit. They even treat their people like doggy poopy.

got all the way to the track today and it wasn't raining. And then i get to the line and it starts raining. Is that BS or what? I wish it would of rained like all day instead of tease me like that.

yeah, same thing happened to my brother (tpivette89) and I. we got there and pulled over by the snack bar to let our Vettes cool off and then it started to rain. they cancelled the night shortly after.

one good thing came out of it though... they were handing out flyers as you came in stating that they will be open for racing eery Wed night from now on. how cool is that?
