i live in the Newark area, but the only trans work i can do is replacing them or draining the fluid. if you ever want to hang out or go cruising just shoot me a PM. i can bring any of the cars in my sig (with the exception of the GTA cause it doesnt run). what kind of 3rdgen do you have? maybe ive seen it before

but anyway, good luck with the shift kit!

I have a 1991 Z28. Its black, black tinted windows, blacked out tail lights. Fairly stock, if you wanna get together just give me a time. I'm a Student at the U of D, and live in Newark. If you wanna get together give me a time and place and i'll get back to you.

just found out alot of the faster Newark area r i c e r s are SUPPOSED to be going down tonight. theyve been gunning for my both my brothers and my Corvettes for awhile now. these guys think theyre kings of the streets with theyre engine swaps, power adders and such. lets see how well those FWD "terrors" hold up in a real 1/4 mile race

Cecil is also open every Wed night now for open racing. same as Fri... gates open at 5, racing starts at 6. $12 to race, $10 to spectate.

Weds are usually a bit better to go to because all the 9/10/11 sec drag cars are there qualifing for points, and the officials prep the track better for those guys. theres usually less people there on Wed nights also

I live across the border in Elkton. For trans work, I would recommend All-Trans in Newark. They have replaced two trannies for me. They are reasonably priced and really know their stuff

thanks for the tip, i'll check it out. i've called some places but they just dont seem to want to do the work. one guy isnt interested in "just putting in a shift kit." others just dont want to do a transgo.

well, If the instructions are good, I could take a stab at it. I also know some other people in the area that work on cars "on the side".
