Summit Point F-Body weekend?
Would anyone be up for renting one of the tracks at summit point next year for a weekend? (im sure you gotta do this way ahead of time). We could do like a F-Body weekend. Or maybe even a F-Body vs Mustang day. No contact running. Don't know about you guys but I am killing to get these cars out on a road course with no speed limits :P

Well no bodies saying you gotta push it....just doing 115MPH is pretty safe and you have no worries of getting a ticket...and hey what we get a thrill out of doing drag racing why not do it for 2 hours straight?...
But anyways the car I am gonna bring wont matter if I flip 10 times hehe. So I might just push it
As long as I don't mess up the ls1 hehe.

Well if we can get a good 50 cars should be like 20-40$ for each of us. More cars the better.

Your best bet IMO would be to run the same weekend as NASA, Car Guys or do a Friday At The Track with BSR.
But if you can set up a track day that only costs $40 I'd sure like to hear about it!

Good point well I e-mailed them can't hurt to see what they have to say. Was hoping 2000 a day would be enough but if not I just that just means more cars or we pay more. Now me personaly I would pay 500$ for the whole weekend....but thats me.

$250 may seem like a lot if you're used to paying $20 for a night of drag racing, but there's a huge difference when comparing the amount of seat-time-per-dollar. You aren't going to spend 2+ hours actually on track at a drag strip even if you have a Geo Metro with 2 spark plug wires pulled.
