Just posting to see if anyone wants to get together sometime this weekend. It's a long holiday and the weather is supposed to be nice so I figured I'd throw it out there. I plan on going to Capitol on Saturday, so maybe a small get together and cruise to the track. Otherwise maybe a small get together on Sunday or Monday.

 

holy hell i forgot mondays a holiday! 3 day weekend awesome! Just had a 4 day weekend and now another 3 day weekend woohoo.

Count me in if enough people are interested. Im trying to set something up to get my shift-kit in this week, so id like to run it at the track whenever thats done. Thats the only thing holding me back from the strip.

 

I gotta put my transmission in saturday and I prob have to work monday :-\

 

id definantly wanna go. i dunno if id take her down the track yet, shes running a little weird.

 

I'll be there at noon so I can get teched in and get in plenty of time runs before the lanes close. Staging lanes close at 4:30, 1 time run for each class then eliminations begin. Let me know if you'll be there so we can all meet up.

 

i am going to the track fri night. i got my new converter from ati and going ot go see how it does. sat it to expensive for me i have to run in class 1 or 2 i forgot but its like 40 bucks, so fri i will be going its only 20 and especially with a new converter i dont even know hows is going ot react off the line. so if anyone is up there fri night i will see you there.

 

yea, my car has to go back in. my mechanic didnt help at all. oh well, and considering he had it for about 3 weeks to do a little tune up, i dont think ill have it back for this weekend.

Mir is open on sunday for a test and tune. I'm actually racing friday, saturday and sunday.

 

Well, my T/A vert (hauling a Grand Marshall Vet or two) and the purple beast are going to be in the Memorial Day Parade procession in DC...I'm so excited about this. I've got one of the guys from f-bodyhideout whose car is out of commission to drive my Camaro and I'll drive the vert. Meeting is on Saturday in Virginia, then Monday is the parade so I'm out for the weekend.

Am looking forward to other impromptu gatherings, so keep us posted. I'm also trying to get another gathering together in Rockville for June -- please try and make it if you can and just to make it as easy as possible, pick a date on the polls...thanks!

 

didnt make it to the track tonight it was raining at my house. hopefully next fri

 

come on up tomorrow. Saturdays are better for racing anyway. Don't have to deal with all the Friday night clowns.
