We all love our hobby, From getting dirty doing an engine swap to waxing our beloved cars, As you may have been reading in the media GM and the other two A-M-E-R-I-C-A-N automakers are in trouble of folding, We can all help by going to the following web site and showing your support to AMERICAS BIG 3 AUTOMAKERS, Right now Camaro,Mustang and Charger might be extinct or who knows. Do we really want to be working or restoring a jellybean TOYota in the future? Lets keep GM,FORD, CHRYSLER pumping out more great cars so our future generation can work on american pride.

Sorry...if it were to sign up demanding that the upper management teams be canned or the Unions re-structure their contracts I would agree. But to just throw money at these idiots and continue to allow them to **** it away?! Sorry, not going to get my support on that one. My wife and I own 4 American made vehicles (3 GM & 1 Ford), however there isn't a car that they make today that I'd be interested in buying, that's including the new Camaro & Mustang.

I definitely support the American automakers, but I do feel that things need to change big time. The American carmakers make, well, let's face it, crap. The cars are nowhere near Toyota and Honda, etc. in terms of quality and reliability, and meanwhile the workers make nearly twice as much, and don't have to contribute to their healthcare.
For one, the big whigs in the companies need to stop with all the private jets and bonuses and whatever comes with being that high up in the company. That money could be better spent in researching more fuel efficient and higher quality cars, or maybe they could even *gasp* lower the car prices a bit.
Secondly, and I know It's not popular, but the union members need to contribute to their own healthcare, and maybe take a small pay cut. Whatever needs to be done to keep them afloat and in competition with foreign automakers, whose workers make way less.
Lastly, the companies need to start churning out better vehicles. I am a patriot as much as the next guy, but Toyotas and Hondas and Nissans are just better vehicles. If the big 3 can make a car on par with that, and maybe have them be a bit cheaper than the foreign makers because of the lowered costs of production from pay cuts to the union and healthcare contributions, I'm sure people will be all over it. The cars and trucks need to just be better, plain and simple.
Don't get me wrong, I love my car and the parts for it and everything, and I support the big 3 110%, but as long as they churn out sub-par vehicles for large amounts of money, giving them more to burn isn't gonna solve anything. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for reading
