So I am home on leave....and itching to go to the track and get new times with the custom Lloyd Elliot cam, 373's and SFC. I asked the track if it was gonna rain and they said it looked like it would later on that night around 10pm. So I slap the ET streets on the car and go down there. Ran into a lil drizzle on the way there but nothing big. I get about 2 miles away from the track and it starts pouring. I call the track and they canceled for the night. I turn around to come home and get back on the interstate, going no more than 35-40 mph, my emergency flashers on, in the right lane. I hydroplane into the guardrail nose first, spin back around ( the right way) in the emergency lane. The car is still on and not much damage to the front end. Then a dump truck decides to customize the back end of the car.
I go to the ER with back pain and after they inject me with pain medicene a state trooper comes in and takes my statement. My parents were there and i dont remember everything i told him. I do remember he didnt introduce himself, kept trying to say and hint that i was racing on the interstate, and made comments about "Does your insurance know that you race your car?"
So he gives me a wreckless driving ticket and the dump truck only got following too close. Come to find out, the truck that was imediately behind me on the interstate avoided me and it was the truck behind him. I WAS IN THE EMERGENCY LANE!!!!

I am getting a lawyer because the cop messed up the ticket time and a few other things. AND I WAS IN THE EMERGENCY LANE WHEN I WAS HIT!!!!!!!

wow srry for your luck, that dump truck sure did a nice job...check the frame, may be bent now. and i would get a lawyer to. when i had my 88 i was out with some freinds and a cop pulled me over saying i was racing and indangering the lives of my freinds...so he gave me weckless driving and like 4 counts of endangering lives. went to court with my lawyer and explained that my 88 is a mere stock v6 and has 4 ppl in the car. judge dismissed it and looked at the cop and said get real

Ouch. Sorry to hear that happened. Too bad the cops had to come and question you when you weren't straight headed... I would get a lawyer.

 

lol i get that a lot, i know far strach(sp) to believe but it is real, didnt happen in the noke...it was close to west va.

and ya it does suck bout the car, and why do cops do that? come and ask you question in the hospital...
