hey i am trying to find a 3rd meet in montgomery county or somewhere near there and if there isnt one maybe we can organize one

if its later in the evenings or a day im not at the shop ill come through, still trying to get a damn Kmember for this beast. so hopefully before to long the 383/th350 setup will be done

 

So.... what's up? We met up at Cici's pizza in Rockville last summer, parking lot was fairly empty so there would be plenty of room. I don't know about you all but I'm usually free Saturday mornings. Any takers or date suggestions? We don't have too much decent weather left if we're to make it happen

 

afternoon/evening times generally seem better for meets but my thirdgen will be inop. until christmas or new years depending on the cold

whats up kirs havnt talked to you in a while, their are not too many 3rd gens around but i know of a good shopping center not too far off the highway that has plenty of room. I dont like the cici's meeting area too much. but if you guys want help planning somthing and the weather is good im in... and willing to help organize something somewhere some time but i think sunday mornings would work out the best.

you know i'm always down. however, im currently in the midst of a parts-buying frenzy so the car might be under the knife in the next month or so. if it's able to move under it's own power i'll be there

 

HAHAHA my car's batt was completly dead last time and jumpin it didnt work. but ill be there this coming up time

Yeah, this sounds like a winner.Let me (us) know way in advance so I can make sure I'm off from work.Sunday sounds like a better day based on the responses I've seen and I'm OK with that.I'd like to see this happen!!

Meet at a park? where their is parking and place to chill
meet in a parking lot with a rest to eat at?
meet at a place chill for a while and then cruise around some back roads?
some other place?

But yeah, it'd be cool to meet up somewhere, then cruise, then maybe end at some sort of a food place with a large parking lot. just my $.02

 

meet at parking lot, cruise, end at food place. and as long as the cruise isn't more than an hour it'll work for me. saturday or sunday is good

 

Im not looking to go that far on a cruise but i think it would be fun to go. sat is not good for me but sunday morning is good for me

How about meeting up at Seneca state park. They have some real nice views for people to take pics of the cars, then we can cook out, then if we wanna cruise clopper road is nice and scenic among others

Sooo yea, we should set a date for this. I plan to start tearin my car down late March so I can have it back together again by Ocean City. Anyone got suggestions?

I just stumble across this post. I would be interested in a meet. The only problem my 88 GTA is just is the starting phase of being made road worthy. It still would be nice to talk with fellow 3rd Gener's.

I am near Hampstead MD. 20 miles Northwest of Baltimore, 8.5 miles east of Westminster, 15 miles south of Hanover, PA.

 

Need to get a gathering scheduled for 75/80 - be nice to have a bunch of third gens show up for a cruise in. The track would love it too. They open April 2nd for a TNT. I'm hoping to make it but I'm not very dependable these days.

Hey Toxic - you're a staple on this site, aren't you? LOL! If we can schedule it during the weekend, I can visit for a few hours -- just need to make sure I have coverage at the studio and the weather outlook is good (my cars don't come out unless it's 100% sunshine in the forecast). Friday evening, Saturday or even a Sunday (which works great for me!) anytime after they open...I'll start a new post...

Good thing I saw this, I had an unfortunate accident with a neighborhood kid trying to be nice. Cleaned the snow off my car, along with some paint (on the hood). So I need an estimate, and painted.
