I've been racing with VMSC out of richmond for a little while now an would love to see more f-body cars out there instead of a bunch of imports they have been racing at RIR but have a few at VMP there schedule is at VMSC.com or myautoevents.com search VMSC.... its a good time prettty cheap only $30 an you get a good feel of what your car can do heres a pick of me at last weekeneds race.

Where at? I do a lot of scca events in the blue ridge region and local porche club autox events. I'd love to travel to some other areas and beat on the Camaro a bit.

 

We have been racing at RIR since meadow event park went under there are some races at Virgina motorsports park too the blue ride region guys come an race with us alot

 

Yeah I do most of the local events. ESP with my z28. Missed out on the last few though :/

 

I havent lowered my car yet so I just race in F stock

 

Im not racing because my car is stock and probably wouldn't do too well. I'm working on the car though and have plans for VIR, dragstrip, etc..... I'll still plan to be there next month though.

my car is stock tires motor suspension 215K all original and a turd its just fun to run i dont plan on fisnishing top 10 i bet your car would suprise you mine did

 

my car has stock lb9 only mods are catback 3in cat 10deg inital timing air foil lowered lcarbs tubular lower control arms with poly/rod ends adjustable and same thing for panhard rod. running some cheap doral sdl50 245/50/16 street tires. oh and the car has 260,000miles

that course is alot bigger than we run at RIR i think i was running like 45 sec times when we race at vmp there pretty big though

 

yeah we have a pretty big lot alot of times around 1min maybe a little more. the first scca event this year i ran in a sts miata that was a TON of fun.

 

mine is a stock lb9, 2.73 rear, 140k mis. maybe i will try it out and see how it does.

 

Mine too has 2.73s I usually have to manually keep mine in 1st. But I just bought a 3.42 rear go mine so that will help ALOt.

 

I just put a 9 bolt in my car it has 2.77 which didnt help anything but I got rear disc an posi with it

 

Yeah mines a posi 10bolt 2.73 with drums but going to the posi 3.42 and aluminum drums.

 

I Wana find a 10 bolt posi with disc or even without that i could convert because 9 bolt parts are expensive

 

Thy are out there I drove up to mount Jackson and got mine for $100

I just got back from Carlisle. While I was up there Hotchkis suspension had a supercharged 5th gen Camaro they were doing autocross ride alongs in. I rode along.......holy crap what a ride......first time I have ever been on an autocross track. I'm doin that again.........

 

yeah its a lot of fun
