Always looking for more CAM cars if you like driving your car ... double header at Hershey Park this weekend if the snow doesn't cancel it!

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
I just got back into the F body game too. Picked up an 82 Trans Am on Saturday. It's far from perfect but a nice, solid project car.
I'm from the Friedens area outside of Somerset.

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
Checking in from Philly after a LONG hiatus. Just got my hands on an '86 Trans Am as an early birthday present.
Always buy cars in the dark
Met a friend at Advance Auto Parts
Meeting younger sibling for the first time. Sneezed off one of the front vent covers on the way home.
Drove her back from upstate NJ to Philly on Sunday. This old gal needs a LOT of work, but the motor is sound, interior is fairly clean, and the t-tops don't leak. I'll have to split project time between the new Trans Am and the Solstice, but it's worth it for my dream garage.

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
Very nice. I bought mine in Philly last year, but it was a NJ car also. I recently had the front end painted and 8 license plate holes in the nose were filled n hidden forever lol.

Edit: I just counted again....8 licence plate holes? Good god, how many plates did they mount to the poor car? I'm glad you rescued it from that horrid front-plate state!

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
Thank you. Alot more paint work still needs to be done. Good luck with yours.
Edit: 4 holes for a plate , and 4 additional i assume were drilled later on for a factory plate holder

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
I am looking for a console door with a good latch. Can't think of anything else off hand that I really need. Do you know what engine is in it?

Nice Berlinetta! There is an 84 on Facebook marketplace that's in NJ. If it would have been closer I would have looked at it before I got my TA. I prefer the TA but that Berlinetta is nice and looks almost identical to yours except it has T-tops. You've got a nice, clean looking car there.

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
I posted this in another thread. I'm planning to go a day early, and tow the car down. Anyone have any interest in going?

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
Well, the 7th Annual Camp Cadet Cruise-In at Stoystown Auto Sales yesterday was a nice one. Probably around 250 cars there. Not a whole lot of 3rd gens but there were some. I don't know if anyone on here was there but here's pictures of the ones that were there.

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
Looks like a great turnout Gold. I was at a family camping trip other wise would have been there. Next Sunday is the final cruise-in at Valley Dairy on Scalp Ave, also there is one at the J-town Humane society by Home Depot 12-4 and Summit Diner from 1-4. My daughter wanted to go to both so I have no idea which one we will hit yet.
BTW - The teal Z28 belongs to a buddy of mine - Doug, he is at most of the shows in the area. And Larry owns the blue IROC next to him, who I just met recently. Hopefully I can meet up with you next weekend.

No, I didn't make it. Had a wedding on Saturday and was entertaining friends on Sunday so didn't get there. Maybe the one this month if the weather cooperates.

Re: Pennsylvania roll call
So recently NYTHIRDGEN put on a power tour. Watch the video here:
NYTHIRDGEN Power Tour 2019
So it gave me the idea to do something like that in PA. Maybe the Sunday after the Saturday car show for Chevy Nationals in Carlisle? If there is enough interest I will start a new thread. What do y'all think?

Hi Everyone!
I'm a new member, in the Philly suburbs. I joined because I'm actively looking for a 3rd gen Z28 right now, and have seen a few in the classifieds here that interest me. As a new member, I don't have access to PMs... Which is why I'm posting here! It's difficult to communicate with sellers here without being able to PM. Not having a car yet, I really have no need to post in any of the tech forums, and this board doesn't seem to have a "new member" area to post introductions. Sorry about a "fluff" post here, but I think I need a few posts to have PMs turned on for me! I'm super active on forums around stuff I already have (like hdforums.net), so I'm very familiar with this kind of interaction. As far as my Camaro history goes, I've owned a '69, a '70, and a '73. But it's been decades since I've had one (I've had some Chevy trucks, Italian cars, and a bunch of bikes in the mean time). A few months ago I decided it's time to start looking at these!
