Hey attention all WV people. There is currently talks underway to put in a new dragstrip in weston westvirginia. Thats central WV right next to buckhannon. There was supposed to be a interest meeting last thursday but it got snowed out so I'll let everyone know when the next meeting is and what comes of it. The more people that show up the better chance there is that this strip might happen.
All of you Camaro owners in the Charleston - Kanawha Co. area I just got a call from a guy down there that wants to start a local Camaro club , if interested email me at Archs89@yahoo.com

I wish I was in WV! I miss Greenbrier County pretty bad just about anytime I think about it. I live a little south of Richmond VA now. The only good thing about it (besides the job) is the cars don't rust down here. I'm so spoiled now when I move back home I'll have to park my camaros in the winter time 'cause it would break my heart to watch 'em rust out from all that dang salt they put on the roads. I've only managed to bring the IROC home one time when we visit but now that the kids are leaving home for college I think it'll get to come home more often. Its great on those little curvy roads between Quinwood and Summersville, or down Rt. 60 to Montgomery. Lots of fun.

I'm from Huntington. I've got like 4 or five guys that want to do a meet somewhere. We all gotta take the f-bodies to the drag strip sometime and then cruise for a little bit. There's a descent drag strip in Saint Albans...

How many of you race at Kanawha dragway outside St. Albans? I was there last night for the first time for the Night of Fire event. Seems like a decent strip although it's an 1/8 mile.

I've raced there a few times, and it's a nice place. The few times I was there I got tons of runs, We had 3 structured time trials and then an hour of first come first serve runs before eleminations even started. I went out first round and still got 5 runs in. Nice people too. I've also heard that Pittsburg Raceway is pretty nice now too if your from up north. Although it's pretty busy and you'll only get 2 runs before eleminations start.
