I'm a member of a car club based out of michigan and we are starting a Illinois chapter (i live in naperville). I'm arranging a meet for members and non-members that would include a cruise into chicago for the auto show and a dinner afterward. i think most of us have jobs that are gonna keep us from comming...and ontop of that the subject sounds like your advertising the team, and IMHO and from what i gather on the website, you guys aren't organized, you really don't seem to have a focus...do you show cars or race cars or do a half assed job trying to do both at once? do all of you HAVE cars? how many people are in it and where are they from? You guys have alot of organizing to do before you start messing with going to events...but thats just my opinion, take it with a grain of sand...

the first paragraph i wrote up was generic cause i posted it on a couple different forums that i belong to. and no im not offended at all...

i will admit they are 'somewhat' little, (compared to thirdgen.org)

the main focus is a company that will help allocate sponsors, Team Revolution came from friends hanging out. From there its growing rapidly. I know of quite a few people that want to get sponsored and that have their own little team of typicly one type of car. so then have a larger team of 'car enthusiast' that like to hang out, like to work on cars, have questions, etc.

its allot of show, but most of themebers like to go fast so then the forums where mod questions etc can be helped.

but fresh? team rev has been showing at different events, latest being import revolution. Go to events list to see others.

Team Rev. was having the meeting. i havent organized an fbod meet in awhile so i figged get both, plus, who doesnt love a caravan of good lookin cars?

could you explain this idea of being a company that allocates sponsors? it sounds like a pretty damn interesting idea to me.

its cool man, we are first setting up the forums and regional sects to get us known, then randy steps in. in addition to that section of ar racing, his main goal is to start a magazine that has high prospects.

so right now its just cool getting hookups, minor sponsorships, Meets, Shows, Models, Chillin.

so its random stuff like that, its nothin that takes money so if you want to just sign up some time and shoot the shiet on the board, the reason is that its so small is because its winter and i truly havent had much time to meet IL people, tho i have reason to believe IL will grow faster than any other.
we are top five for Groups in the US
plus whats going on this year will be great. plus its a true enthusiast site so theres allot less dumb people.
