www.lo-ko.com they're in IL but their prices are pretty decent and they do excellent work on show cars. I would recommend them. Their prices are roughly on the website.

how does that help him? unless we can ship everything to you and you can do it for us?
i'd say roughly 75 to do all that.
although, i paid 500 to have all my brackets, hinges, valve covers, alt, plenum, everything you see in my picture ceramic coated.
depends on what color you pick and how much your doing.....usually the more you do the better. the condition of the item matters to since if they are really rusted and what not they will have to sandblast them or clean them in some way.
save yourself some money and clean the parts yourself.
what color are you looking for?

what is the difference between powder and ceramic coating....other than the difference in materials
Does one have better durabilty? How much maintanance is required for the both of them?
Will ceramic be more expensive than powder coating?
I was either go with a blue color or the silver/chrome color. Does ceramic coating come in different colors?
sorry for all the questions
ceramic coating is more expensive because of it's heat properties....it's mainly used on headers. when the piece is polished and then ceramic coated you can have a high luster piece that is similar to a polished finish without the hassles and almost as nice as chrome with out the price tag.
powdercoating doesn't require any maintenence except the usual cleaning....most of my suspension pieces are powdercoated in black, red, silver. and the only time i ever have to do anything is if i get caught in a rain storm.
durability wise, those parts aren't going to see much of anything that you need to worry about. only time you worry is on suspension pieces or actual moving pieces like hinges, etc.
yes ceramic coating is more expensive, it's a different material.
there are no silver ceramic coating............ceramic coating may look silver over time. there is ceramic coating and there is powder coating and don't ever make the mistake that you can powder coat or ceramic coat anything to look as good as chrome.
ceramic coating is the closest thing............but still very far off.
here's the place i go to... check it out to get ideas. www.qccoatings.com there's a pic of my car on there too!

Thanks Jeff for all the help!!!:hail:
I will have to see about my budget, but i think i am gonna go for the ceramic coating. Even if i have to wait a month or two have enough money to have everything done, it will be well worth the wait i think.

Depends on what finish you want on your rims. We charge $290 for a set of four, so your two rims would be cheaper... though doing only the centers adds a bit for prep work since it'd need to be masked off on the outer rim. I'd say $150-ish depending on the gaurantee given, cheaper for a coat and walk job.
Just do coating on the side, only offered a price as comparison, so please, no spam complaints.

I live in a really small town just 25 minutes south of Michigan City, 15 minutes east of Valparaiso, IN. There just so happens to be a place here that does powder coating.. They can powder coat anything you want and any color.. They do a really good job and they're not high priced. If anyone's interested I can get the phone # for the place.
