I'm looking to shorten a driveshaft and i live in east central illinois so it's gonna have to be a place between champaign and peotone...anybody know of a place that does it? and just so i don't get bs answers, i don't want your cousin jimmy's hack job on my driveshaft, but if you know of a shop that has a good rep. let me know ASAP

 

If you are nearby Peoria, theres a shop that made a driveshaft for my Camaro when I did the TH350 swap. Charged $96 and said he would replace it if I found some way to break it!

Rantoul is about a 45 minutes south of you on 57, my girlfriend lives there, I'll be there the next 5 or so weekends

well, even tho this is back from the dead, anyone in need of driveshaft work can look up Boubonais Supply Incorporated, they lengthened my d/s for $94, 50 something for the balance and lengthen, 40 something for the tube, i imagine it'd be 50 for just a shortening
