Got my New Plates today!! :D

i just got my new license plates today!! so if you see a sliver 88 bird driving around with the plates "APESBRD" honk and wave at me

Hey I had a question for you.. I am in the process of getting Vanity plates too. I just need to send everything in. Do you have to pay the $94 for the Customizing and then the $78 for the renewel? Also How long did it take?

yep those are the costs of the plates in IL sucks doesnt it? but the plates are nice...even though they scratched one of mine while shipping it i'll have to paint it in later make it all pretty! it took about 2-3 months after i applied for them to get them.

Also, if you get 1 number or more at the end, you pay just the standard cost...

ie my old plate on my Taurus SHO was SHO OFF 5 ....cost was the same as a regular plate ;-)

damn thats expensive. my custom plates was a one-time $25. Then it's $5 a year after that on top of my $23 registration fee.
