well i fired up my new 357 tpi yesterday and it ran great. i had visions of busting pistons and cranks as i started it. but it ran with good oil pressure and water temp. im never getting headers again. big pain in the ***. had a spark plug wire fire a few minutes after i started it. the right side headers melting everything within a few inches of it, including the wiring harness. it does sound nice with open headers though. i guess im going to have to make some kind of heat shield for the starter/harness. see you on the streets

 

forgot to ask if anyone has any long lengths of spark wire. i need to custom make some wires to wrap the long way around the headers. the spot that they are in now will burn em up.
