There's a show in Peotone at the Will Country Fairgrounds, 32nd Annual Tri-Chevy Show....but if that thing showed up, it would be pelted to death by beer bottles and quadrajets. *shudders*

 

Ontogenesis: You didn't mention the best part of the Tri-Chevy event... the swap meet. That is the largest swap meet of the summer in the Chicagoland area. A good chunk of my Firebird came from there.

And the car show is pretty good too.

 

thanks for some info, i was planning on goin on the HR power tour with my dads car ( www.worksstand.com/jeffs.htm , the yellow car) . the picture i posted was my car, in the future. Murray Pfaff rendered it for me, and thats pretty much exactly wut its going to look like, besides the big decal on the back, and were getting a carbon wing.

They will be coming to the Arlington Race Park when the power tour stops through.

The NW boards usually sets up a Volo Auto Museum get together. Its been small for the first two years, but this year I hope it'll get LARGE..

As in people who say they will go, and actually GO!!!

BTW, MetallicamaroRS got pics of the Ultima GTR when it stopped by on a cruise night last year. You can ask him for more pics of it.

Yeah pics of that would be cool! I was there that night that thing was cool but did not know much aobut it. Ever since it has been in tons of car Mags and its pretty NEAT!
