For more surface area and it let you pull air from inside of the fender, behind the headlight and from under the car.

Or you could just use a cone filter and seal it off on the one side?

You could use it on a maf car by cutting the straight piece of tubing shorter and mounting the maf right next to the filter box. By the way it is all 3.5 aluminum tubing.

I am going to stick to $200 I have over $300 in material and a ton of hours involved in it. If you want to you can give me a call and stop by to see it first hand.

I put my battery in the trunk (actually I removed the spare tire and put the battery where the spare was) so there would be more weight over the right rear tire.

sorry, but no thanks. He would also have to buy a $40 battery relocation kit and install a kill switch when the battery is moved to the rear.

I know that most of us are hurtin' for cash but come on people at least read the post from the top AND look at the pictures. Most of the people around here(QC) don't have the skills to pull off a fabrication like that for under 200 bucks. If you think you need it buy it. I you have a TBI or less don't WASTE the mans time. You know who you are.

If you would have read the intire thread you would see that it isnt for ME!! And i do have the skills to make one of these (that isnt overkill) for $125 even. Kevin man start talking in english. Slow down and type correctly because KNOWBODY can understand your posts.

If you can build one for $125 you are doing better than me. The 2 elbows are $60 each and the tubing was $30 the 4 filters are $30 each. That is $270 and you still do not have the .125 plate or the .75 plate. I have 12 hours of machine time and my welder has another 4 hours of his time involved in it. This is the reason I was asking $200.

like i said. One that isnt overkill. That is overkill for a 350. I will have him buy a 3 1/2" stainless mandrel bent exhaust tube in JCWhitney for $60 and ill cut off one end to make the other elbow to weld on. And then he will buy the $45 cone K&N filter and we will put it on the end of the intake. All of this will take around 4-5 hours. Not the 20 hour job but not overkill. And ill polish the SOB to make it shine.
