I was there!
It was my first time and it won't be my last. I liked it. I did see quite a few thirdgens there too.
All around alot of nice rides!
It seemed to really get wild when the sun went down.
I was a little disapointed that the cruise was shut down so early, It was about 9:00 when they started closing it down. I was able to circle around and keep going till about 10 though. definatly worth the trip.

Here are some pics.
I'll update them when I have time...just got back as well. I was in Pontiac near the 'loop'. It was my first time as well and I will be back also. I had to have seen at least 40 3rd gens. One in particular I was interested in was an 85-90 all black T/A with a roll bar who got stopped for doing an impressive brake torque----who are you? I helped save ya
I also have quite a bit of video footage. I don't have any way of hosting that but maybe I'll think of something. I have at least 1 1/2 hours of brake torques that were going on where my friends and I were.
Leaving this morning and driving down Woodward at 8:45, I got to run a Charger, older Monte SS, Chevelle, 2nd gen Vette,...Great time. I read somewhere that if you are truly a fan of cars, then this is a must do at least once in life and it is and I'm hooked.

Royal Oak was pretty crazy, but fun nonetheless. I DID see a lot of third gens as well. It was a good time for all. Didn't burnout like the raging mobs wanted me to, but I already had a bad experience with burnouts and cops. Cops were writing tickets left and right.
the week building up is the best for true car people. saturday is the "family" and "corporate" day, way to commercial and policed to have any real fun.
those of you that were coming out should have let me know as i had a 50 spot lot you could have all took part in.

Can't remember....it was moving so thats why the pic is so poor. It was an EXTREMELY clean looking Formula. All I can remember is that the lettering on the sides was in red. Post a pic and I'll be able to tell.
I 'Lit 'em Up' whenever it was requested
I was a about two(or more) blocks North of Saginaw where my friends and I were hanging out with some guys who kept watering down the street and getting people to stop and do the deed. We went for about three hours before the police finally showed. After that, the t-tops came in handy as my buddy was taping from through the roof.

I had a blast. We got there Thursday and left Sunday. Everyday was a good one. Already planning a longer stay next year.
