The 28th annual Beloit (Wisconsin) Autorama is Sunday, September 19th. While I have never been there I have heard it is a decent car show and parts swap. The one day event starts at 8 am and goes to 4 pm (or sooner). I plan to check it out (time permitting).

Anybody else been to this? What's been your take on it?

Anybody plan on going and/or showing their car or selling stuff?

I went two years ago. I liked it. They had some really nice cars. Not alot of third gens, but i heard last year had alot more cars. I think the younger crowd got into it more last year. There was alot more imports,but it's cool. Then you can see what's around here and check out their ride. That way if you run into them on the street you'll know if you should even bother wasting the gas or not. I hope there's more third gens. It'd be cool to see what others around here are doing to them.
I'm looking forward to going this year.

 

i've been going to the show for about 10 years now and have never been dissapointed. show usually gets around 1200 cars. a little bit of everything. 50/50 raffle, car corral, swap meet. i highly reccomend it. (unofficial burn-out contest at the end of the show every year. depends on cop placement)

 

So you live in Beloit too? That's cool. What's your car look like? I may have seen it around. There's few nice thirdgens around here, but i've only seen them driving by.

 

mine is still a work in progress. it's silver with black trim. I'll have it at the advanced auto car show this saturday. I know of one other thirg gen that will be there for sure.

 

Travis, I was wondering which advanced the show's at? And what time. I'd like to stop by and check things out. Thanks!

Also Turner High is having their pancake breakfast sunday morning. So there's good eatin' before autorama.

I don't know if I'll have my car there at advanced. still have some more brake work to do... plus I'll be at the county auction in the morning. Hopefully it will be done by then.
