ok so i was thinking of selling my 91 firebird and getting a 3rd gen IROC. My friend suggested that I hold on to it because you don't see to many 91-92 firebirds around. I would just like to know what you guys think. Thanks.
About my car....

what are snypers? lol
i plan on restoring it someday back to showroom quality and i was lucky enough to get the original window sticker. I would probably lower it as you said and keep the 305 TBI set up cause you can still get some decent hp out of a 305
p.s. that t/a of yours is pretty awesome and I am sure it will be even better with that 383

It really depends on what you want. I would do what you would like. if you are looking at it as a pur investment I would keep the TA
just my 2 cents

go with what you like, to hell with anyone else's opinions. personally beyond the early gta and turbo ta cars i like the irocs better. good luck with your choice.

I'm biased for no real definable reason but the Bird always gets my vote as a unique animal unlike the abundant Camaros. There are some good looking ones, but interior differences also affect my taste. I think Pontiac did a good job, but from a press standpoint, Ponchos using non Poncho engines have lesser value, or so HPP [High Performance Pontiac) claims.
In other words earliest Firebirds have the most clout but the 4th gen aftermarket is THICK as well. Not a bad car to stick with I say
Buy two... Camaros aren't too costly, being as there are SOOO many of them
You also have the Pontiac Historical Society that Camaro owners can only dream of having for their cars!

lol i think that the majority of the 91-92's are located around here...before i got mine i never really noticed how many there were but when i bought the TA i saw them everywhere....there are like 6 of them within the group of ppl we do things with.... and truth be told the bluebook value is not high enough for me to hold on to mine for that reason...i have been thinking about selling mine for the past year so i could build a thirdgen camaro...well i finally bought the camaro but still have the TA for now also.

yeah i think i am going to hold onto it. ONe thing i really want is that 4th gen Ram Air hood like Nikki has lol. I think it looks really good on the 91-92's. I also plan on getting a 91-92 T/A spoiler too. My car has more possibilites than I really thought. Might not lower it or get snypers but maybe some chrome wheels instead. One goal I am set on is making it the fastest street and smog legal 305 heh. Just a matter of money and time.

I tend to think this young generation is the one missing the muscle car era, but we also get the improvements that come with tech advances. I think you'll have to wait a number of years before there is a sizable crowd of new drivers craving these, but again, my personal bias... As much as I like a new car...Styling has changed to the point where great cars of old are barely hinted at in new design studios. Everyone is copying each other...or Dodge. I have to admit I like the Magnum though, the new Chev Nomad haha
