Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to the forum but always been into Third-Gens and was wondering if anyone on here was from the Central IL area particularly Peoria or Bloomington/Normal area. Always good to know and meet new people in the same area with the same interests.

I figured there would be but at least this way we can figure out who all is from Central IL. I'm actually from El Paso, 15 miles north of B/N on 39.

87 Formula owner in Central IL
Hi, I'm in South Pekin.
I've owned my Formula since I bought it from Scheer Buick Pontiac in October of 86 and it's had 223,000 hard miles since.
I'm planning on making it better than new.

Although I can't speak for last year the Jacksonville cruise has been going down hill for a few years.... still a good cruise but not what it use to be last time we were there was 04

The Bloomington cruise is getting bigger every year they were averaging between 250-300 cars per month last year

If you are looking for a good cruise.... the monmouth cruise the Sat. before the La Harp (Fred Gibb Chevrolet) car show is another good one

Yeah, that's what I understand too about Jacksonville. One reason we did Springfield instead last year. You'll have to post the Monmouth cruise when it comes closer to that time. B-N does have a good cruise night! The Hooters Spring and Fall cruise are usually pretty good in Peoria too. I know Streator is a drive for some but they have a cruise night once a year and it usually pulls 500+ cars. I believe its in Sept.

Springfield was really slow on Fri. but was pretty good on Sat. and Sun

Any set dates for cruises in Central Illinois?
Does anyone have any set dates for any cruises in the central Illinois area? I'd like to check out some of the 3rd gen cars for ideas. And how do you add a picture to your post?
Thanks!
