New to board

Hi, I have had this site bookmarked for quite awhile, always waiting for the car I have watched for 5 years, now the car is mine and I can become a more active member.

I live in lower MI now, back from Grand Rapids for 6 years, mainly lower MI most of my life.

I picked up a 82 firebird, I am the 3rd owner since new, and has been been garaged 90% of its life, one rust spot on the drivers door, thats all. 2.8 with a blown head gasket, and PERFECT interior.

Not sure how to upload pics on here from my HD, so if anyone can tell me, I will do so.

The car is gonna be a cruiser for now, dropping in a 3.4 I am getting from a friend, doing the Ram Air hood, and GTA styled wing, wheels and tires, and not sure from there. But I am geeked I finally got her.

Anyways, hello.

The 3.4 is a popular swap for my 90 Z24 (J bodies) too from what I've heard.

Welcome.

There are FWD 3.4's (Grand Prix) and RWD 3.4's. One sits sideways and the other doesn't....
The Iron duke is a 4 cyl. offered in thirdgens in the earlier years.

aha...gotcha...
after I posted that, I did think more about it and realized that the 3.4 was just the redone 2.8, so I was sure where theres a will theres a way.
