my car is going to be stripped down......parts for sale...

ok guys....here is the deal....i am going to be doing an lsx swap and have no use for the gen1 chevy parts the car has....

this thread is to see what i can guage for interest in what will be for sale...the car wont be taken apart till about january

for sale:

custom 3 inch exhaust...all tig welded polished stainless steel which includes a y pipe that is 2.5in merging into the 3 inch intermediate pipe...the muffler on this exhaust is a flowmaster 80 series that is less than 2 years old...the exhaust comes with matching hooker headers that are matched to the flanges on the y pipe...this is a $1500 exhaust....i am looking to get $600 for everything....pictures will be posted if wanted

my motor/trans:

311 cubic inch l69 that had a cam installed with a performer intake and holley carb and uses a mallory unilite distributer...estimated 300hp and i am getting that from the times the car ran at WIR in wisconsin...it ran 14.4@97mph with a bad 60ft (2.3)...it does have some power....the trans is a rebuilt unit with a transgo shift kit (was told from previous owner) and has about 20k on it

i would like $700 for both

other things would be for sale but off the top of my head i am not sure what i am having to pull off...

i could care less...i bought the car this way and bought it for an lsx swap....

but really if you think about it the car was ran with a stock convertor and really crappy cooper cobra tires...2.3 60ft is a horrible traction issue and 97 mph is good for high to mid 13s

I'd like to see some pictures of your exhaust. Where in Wisconsin are you located?

I am also interested in the exhaust. Where are you located?
Could you post pics up on the thread? Are the headers longtube or shorties?

Thanks

Do the headers have AIR tubes or an O2 bung? If they have neither i would be very interested in the entire exhaust system. I would be willing to pick this setup up.
Thanks

i will seperate the trans...that i dont have a problem with...but the exhaust was built with these headers and are flange specific so i'd like to keep them together

the headers have an 02 bung that is closed off with a plug and no air tubes

as soon as i buy a winter beater this stuff will be for sale...so be patient...i am shooting for the next month or so

If you could, can you post up which magazine/article the car/exhaust was featured in?
