well....what i found is a rod bolt came loose and let go..no.2 connecting rod snapped and took out the cam...its in 3 pieces in the bottom of the pan

my friend had that happen while idling in his driveway, he had just had a oil pressure gauge put in on his ls1, they took the amnifold off to get to the oil pressure sender adn then connected the windsheild washer line to a vaccuum port on the intake
