Does anyone know of any junkyards in or around Columbia, Missouri?

 

I have been looking but I think there is one towards Kingdom City. I just stored my Camaro and want to get some parts for it and work on it during the winter and I keep looking for a junkyard near here. I think tomorrow I am going to swing by the Orielly and Autozone and ask those guys. They should know a thing or two.

 

yea there's one in kingdom city, they have a couple 3rd gen camaros and 2 firebirds right now. look them up on craigslist. there's also a guy in jeff city with a bunch of parts too, also on craigslist.

 

well I have had better luck with kc or St. louis as not much in our area

I live in Springfield during school, but my hometown and where I stay for the summer is Fulton. I'd really like to know where some good junk yards for these car are in the area.

 

TheGr8erGood there is a junk yard around Aroura or however you spell it. Less then an hour from springfield, theres 5 or 6 3rd gen camaros that i know of..

 

Guess what I'm doing this weekend....

Do you have any further directions on how to find this place?

Also, if you are ever passing through on your way down there, let me know, maybe we can pool together and find some parts.

 

I'll try to post up some directshons tomarrow as i have not PERSONALY been to this salvage yard yet. My dad has been there when buying parts for my 98 dodge ram when i totaled it out (dang deer) he picked up my hood (ugly and crappy) for $35. I have a junkyard 10 miles away that is well hiddin, there is suposidly a 3rd gen that was just towed in that was smashed in the rear end, i will try to get ahold of the owner of the place and see if he'll let me drive down there and look at the car before he crushes it. If its got some good parts on it then i'll go pull em for yah if you foot the bill lol. I should also be going by there tomarrow depending on weather.

 

Havent had a chance to get the directshons yet, been gone most of the day, but i went to the junkyard that i know of here locally and well.. I was told it was a 3rd gen, and it was a 4th gen.. and no useable parts left on it....

But lebonan has a junkyard called Mots auto salvage, and one IN town, both have some 3rd gen parts... only issue, PRICE! they think this stuff is worth gold.. 92 black camaro hood RS HOOD with major hail damage.... $135 <--- yea spendy... the one in aruora for a good rs hood $60 z28 hood $80 in good shape.. I'll get more info later.

There is a big one in cabool, it is about an hour or more east of springfield but has tons of cars. Called John's auto salvage
