I should be there several times. I live 13.2 miles from the track. Maybe we'll see eachother there.

I went a few times last year, and there were only a couple Thirdgens there each time I went, so it'll be cool if we can get some of us to make a showing there.

I went a few times and only once got in more than 2 runs....

They play favorites to the big boys and care less about the street cars. Don't be suprised if the Big boys get in 2 - 3 runs per your one time through...

They were also talking about shutting t down for public use too. All they have to do is keep it open for us one day out of the year to keep their agreement with the city.

I ran there a few times last year. I absolutly love it. Everyone complains about the tough tech, the long waits, the 2 runs per visit. For me, coming out of that tunnel and heading down that awesomely preped track makes it all worth it. Plus in the staging lanes there are lots of cool people to talk to and its fun to see all the bad a$$ cars. Plus I always run my best times there. You guys should try the freaky fridays. they dont play favorites and stuff on those nights. Its a lot of fun. IF you want 20 runs a night go to like US41 or something. The track isnt near as nice. The reason there is a wait is cause its the best track in the country. We're lucky to have it so close.

I'm thinking a mini-gathering.....

We should set something up for a Friday night sometime. Something very non-formal...During one of their Test and Tunes.

Dunno...but I'm getting anxious to drive my car again!! grrrrrrrrr..

I've been there a few times over the last couple of years. Never to race just to watch. I'll be ready soon I hope. Just to get a baseline. No real mods yet so NO LAUGHING at my times.

Steve, I'll show up for a gathering if I'm not working. Won't be racing though. The car is strictly for show now and no more racing. At least not this year.

CoalValleyPeeDee....Sounds like a plan. We'll try to get something set up for early summer. Gathering is half the fun. And who knows, we might talk you into at least ONE run...
