Michigan 3rd gen?
I see a lot of post from Micigan and S.W. Michigan owners, isn't there an organized group for this area?

Are you talking about a MI message board on this site? I think that would be a good idea.. i think there's enough of us.
always seemed like a slap in the face that MI isn't listed as one of the states covered in the "Midwest Region"

gravitar,
Contact Dirk and see if he would be willing to create a message board for people in Michigan and surrounding states like Indiana, Ohio, and ?? Call it the Great Lakes Region or what ever you would like.
FYI.........
I picked those states (WI, IL, IA and MN) because I felt keeping the 'coverage area' small would help promote get-togethers, going to car shows and swap meets, meeting at area drag strips, etc. If I were to say that we should meet at a drag strip (Byron, Cordova, Brainerd, Great Lakes, etc) I highly doubt somebody (or 2 or even 3 cars) from MI, OH, IN, etc would be willing to make it. Look at what happened at the NEThirdgen gathering (or even the National Gathering)......people from out of state said they were (or plan on) coming but never made it for various reasons. I know.......I was one of them!
I am in no way flaming you! I encourage you to contact Dirk and explain to him what you want to do. I think he will understand.
I also do not want to give you or anybody else that does not live in the 'Midwest Region' states the impression that your not welcome to post here.
Mike

Thank you for the invitation. I hope I wasn't too harsh, either.. I can't blame you for wanting to keep your region small.. Driving very far beyond Ohio or Indiana isn't something I do very often!
I will make the suggestion to Dirk and see what he thinks about it.
