Hey everybody..just joined this awesome site. I drivea black '91 camaro TPI.anyways..I live in northern illinois, in McHenry County (By crystal lake, johnsburg, rockford, etc..) and ive seen so many 3rd gens in the last month it has blown my mind. Usually, i'm the only one packing true USA (yay) power but recently..i like we are bein blessed with more sweet Camaro and Firebirds..my best friend just bought a '92 bird. Anyone here from around Mchenry?

Good call..it probably is because of the weather. But, whatever the case...all of the people from up north in illinois should meet up some time..anyone in? Well give more details when we get people that are interested?

 

Yeah, We have a car club we are starting in peoria, Illinois. Next meeting is May 4th...Interested?

im out in roselle. and i drive a 90 RS. my place of business is considering of haveing a few car shows in the lot over the summer. we should all orginise and have one hell of a showing. maybe we can show that import raceing team who hangs out there whats up! ill keep you guys up to date if anyone is intrested.

i just moved from mchenry to macomb two years ago. i miss mchenry. good times used to love goin to the fox lake reserve to fish and ****

 

have no fear spartyon, I'm transfering to Western in a year. My car will be a lot faster by then.

 

I live in Lake in the Hills myself.. I officially own a 91 firebird, but I won't be in possession until, well, I don't know! I bought the gorgeous gray 91 back in August on vacation in so. cal. (desert car).. It's showroom condition inside out minus the blown motor :-) So I'm waiting to buy a new motor for it and have my dad swap it for me so I can drive it back home.

Now for my hot-rod I drive a Ford - a 69 fastback Mustang.

well, the IDEA behind this car is to use it as an economical replacement for my t-bird.. The current motor is a 3.1, and I'm lookin to get a 3.4L motor for it so I can do a somewhat painless swap. I thought about the whole 350 route, but I don't want to deal with suspension, cooling, electronics, etc... My 91 t-bird is a pretty damn good car for a 6 banger ford - 140k miles and still pulling strong, I almost hate to sell that car off in the future - but this firebird is mint inside and out..
