Up for sale are custom subwofer boxes. The boxes will fit all year Firebirds and Camaros.

The box below is wrapped in tan vinyl to match my interior, I can wrap it in any color or fabric you would like.(Vinyl,carpet, etc.)

The enclosure is built with MDF Wood and all edges are sealed with silicone making an air tight enclosure. The finished product looks professional, and still allows you to use your T-top bags aswell as glove box. The box is easy to remove and install when maximum trunk space is neccesary.

The box provides a hidden Amp space. The amp is easily accessible through the passenger side compartment for single 12" boxes. For boxes with 2 12" subs there is space for it to be mounted on the driver side, however relatively larger amps will not fit. PM me your amp dimensions if this is a concern. Standard 11" subwoofer hole unless otherwise notified.

It would need to be significantly modified if it could be made to fit at all, and you would lose virtually all trunk space.

Sorry guys, I stopped following this thread. I will start following it again on a daily basis. I am in the process of sending PM's with shipping quotes to all of the posters above.

I doubt it will fit in a vert. If you send me the dimensions of the trunk, and how large you want the box I will make it.

I personally only wanted to go with a single 12", for my application it was all I needed. I can make them with two 12's, 10's and so on.


The one pictured is 1.25ft^3. That is the recommended volume from Kicker for the small sealed box.

I can make boxes for the type/size sub you have.

Yes it does. However you will have to cover the wood with it. If I covered it before the box is assembled, the top piece would be difficult to install since the fabric will get in the way of the wood that attaches to the top piece.

Yep. Sounds about right. I was quote $300-400 for a sealed 2x12 enclosure. No install. Just the box. They are a bunch of inbred hillbillies here anyway.

With the subs sitting flush with the top of the hatch area, doesnt the t-top bag sit on them while the tops are in the bag? If the cone has much movement to it I feel like it would be bouncing off of the bag.

Got a pic showing the t-tops back there??

BTW, GREAT looking boxes, and AMAZING price for what it is. Im not a box builder, but I cobbled somethign together from scrap. I might be re-vamping my audio soon, and I might just grab one from you vs. pulling my hair out making my own

The TTOP bag straps just have to be tightened. If you look at the straps you see it's similiar to a shoulder strap. You simply pull the excess to adjust.

When it is tightened there is no sag therefore the bag doesn't interfere.

I don't have a picture, but I will get one up.

can you build 4th gen boxes? would you be able to build one that sits under the hatch in the flat area so ttops could still be stored?

 

We are actually building our first 4th gen enclosure tomorrow. If all goes as planned the 4th gen enclosure will be on the market by the 11th of this month! I will keep you posted.
