Feb 22 meet went well!!

Just wanted to say that the Feb 22 meet went well!! About 10 guys showed up with F-bodys. One person who shall remain nameless brought his Sable. This person shall remain nameless. *cough* GENE *cough* Its cool though..I didnt think I was gonna take my bird because of the rain. At the last moment I said screw it and took the bird outta the garage. Im glad I got to meet 79Fastback, camzcrusier, Teds 92 RS, TBITransAm and last but certainly NOT LEAST misterjuice. You guys rock and I look forward for the next meet!!! Hopefully it wont rain again and my car will be in better condition. On a different note.......Camzcrusier!!! You're a sick ****!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta give credit is due..that was a pretty good donut you pulled off. Later..

First it was great meeting my fellow F-body neighbors. I thoght it was a pretty good turn out despite the crappy weather. I hope we can do this again in the near future when the weather is a lot better. Maybe we could all caravan to E-town. Lastly, that donut at the end was wicked!!!! LONG LIVE THE F-BODY

Nice website James...your name is James right?? Im trying to remember everybodys names for the next time we meet. One question...why the auto tranny?? I dont want you think that Im "knocking" you for the auto tranny but I just thought youd want a manual with all that power. One another note..Im in the process of talking to that guy with the green camaro that was at Hooters. I just have to get his # from a friend of mine. Welcome to the board!! Later..

well james isn't gonna check this for a while so i'm gonna answer for him.

he's still running stock motor.......just ported heads. however this is a 2nd motor.......the first motor failed with over 400 passes on it most of them with nitrous.....although it wasn't nitrous that made the first engine fail.....it was the transmission that caused it. but i'm sure he'll go into more detail in person or when he reads this.

Ted92rs.....I love your car man......that blue is gorgeous and the car is in excellent shape. wish mine looks that good.

Thanks Misterjuice!, I got it as a wreck the August before last. It was hit in the front, me and my father fixed it up. I'm hopefully gonna be buying a wrecked 89 iroc-Z. I want to swap the 350 TPI engine into my car and get rid of my V6 engine. I love your Z28, it looks and sounds awesome! what kinda exhaust do you have on it?

We met up at Hooters...

Camzcruzier~ What exactly happens when your posi breaks?? Do you end up doing "pegleg" burnouts???

Last..out of the guys that came on the 22nd whos going to Etown on the 8th?? I know Misterjuice said hes going but was only gunna stay for the time trials. I WILL most likely be going but cant caravan down with you guys. I have to work. However I will probably get down there around 2 PM so if you guys are there look for me. And like BigAl said Street Thunder Racing is meeting there so I'll be there showing support for the f-bodys. later.

Why an auto?
Well, honestly my mother leased this car first and I got it at the end of the lease so I had no choice.

Also, auto, converter, nitrous, 1/4 mile track seem to work out quite well.
It hooked once to a 1.630 but then the tranny and fuel solenoid failed.

As for the first engine.... I had somewhere over 400 passes on it with a 120 dry shot. A stupid mistake of tuning caused it to fail. I installed 24 lb accel injectors and stock were 19's. I never had the puter reprogrammed for these. 1 month later boom!!!!

Connecting rod shattered in half, really COOL stuff.
Go into the link in my sig to see everything that was found in my oil pan.
