Hey all you North East Thirdgenr's! I have not posted in a while, and my car is off the road (for the winter), but i am going to get her up and running in the coming weeks. Problem i have is Too much R I C E everywhere, and not enough muscle!!!!! I propose to start a NYC Metro area Thirdgen ONLY club.... i need some peeps to go in with me on this though. I want to turn this post into reality. Any takers???

just letting you know were here pal... i was thining about the idea...but the weather is geting real pissy on us latley... hey why dont guys from each different are post here... or i could guess the group representive.... and we get each area together

 

Thanks buddy. I appreciate it. A good central area to meet would probably be good. There is this place under the Triboro Bridge where a lot of r i c er's and bikers meet... maybe we could check out that scene. As far as i know, the cops never bother anyone down there, so some american muscle should be a welcomed though. Its at Astoria Park.

 

i dont mean to sound like im against the queens/bk/bronx area....but i dont like that area at all.... especialy hanging around that area..... i grew up in queens and i know how bad it gets.... any more ideas? anyone else have any input

 

Likewise, i don't want to get into a dispute over this, but what do you mean, how bad it gets??? Down by Astoria Park, it has to be one of the nicest places to have a meeting. Great views, beautiful park, lots of road, very safe.

 

ap is aight... but some of the outlaying areas around it aint the friendliest... keep me updated.... hopefully i can get a few of the guys on li to FINALY meet up... seems that wyclef me and jbonz are the only 3 regulars at the ave that are on this board...

 

ok, just suggesting a meeting place. Anyone else on this board want to ad some input?? What we could do, is compile some places on the board, then we'll meet at each place suggested, and see which one to make permanent.

 

I don't have anything against the boros (I live on LI...work in Bklyn)....and not in the least bit concerned about the neighborhoods...but its the sh*tty condition of the roads that keep me from cruising in there. If you can get Mayor Mike to do a little re-paving I'd be up for it

 

bergen co here, right over the GWB...i'll have my 86 iroc for a little while after i get it running, but may not own a 3rd gen all year long, but im always buying them up at one time or another, plus i got alotta parts sitting around. Id definately be interested in sometype of club or meeting though

whats going on li here as well and yea a third gen club would be sick now i just gotta get me a new third gen since mine was killed and all, oh and by the way for those of you who know the story it doesnt look like her insurance is gonna try to screw me they valued my car at 4000 + 300 tow and storage but that still has to go through the liability but we'll see what happens they we're supposed to call today but they didnt

 

Hey....I have an 86 IROC and my buddy has an 89, and we were talking about getting a group of 3rd gens together. Maybe one night this spring/summer we can meet up as a group and check out everyones rides.

 

I THINK THAT THE WHITESTONE CINEMA PARKING LOT (BRONX) IS A GOOD MEETING PLACE, OR NATHAN'S IN CENTRAL AVE IN YONKERS SPECIALLY ON THURDAY NIGHTS RACE NIGHT, HUNTS POINT (BRONX) FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS-RACE NIGHT ALSO OR JUST ABOUT ANY MINI-MALL PARKING LOT LET'S JUST DO IT. LATER!!!

 

Yeah Nathan's on Central Ave is a good place in a safe neibourhood.

Nathans in yonkers aint to bad to meet but the cops have been cracking down alot latley on everyone. i see alot of people meeting up in LI. but i can't make it out there.

if you guys decide to meet somewhere a bit closer count me in.
