Welcome me

Hey whats up guys i just bought an 88 firebird the other week and just found this board. I hope to learn some stuff about these cars from you guys. I am in Orange County ny btw

yea its a shaker from a 77 bird.. Im currently trying to find an air filter housing with the right offset so that the scoop will fit right over it and be centered in the hole, apparently when the person cut the whole for the scoop they were on crack.

:-)

that lane has got to be the slow one

Thank you, BTW does anyone know anyone who specializes in tuning TBI firebirds, in the NY/NJ area. I have a 350 in mine and lately it has been running like complete and udder sh*t . First knocking now missing

anyway here are some pics of the scoop...

Yes, It was built by Pro-Motion, there is alot of machine work done to it as well as cam, intake manifold, pistons, chip, and that sort of thing...

He ran 13.6 @ 107 a few weeks before i bought it, but its got a bug im trying to work out right now I think a bad sensor may be making it stutter...
