We have done a few LT1 conversions. They fit pretty well in a third gen but some concerns are the air conditioning which interferes with the steering linkage and also where to mount the PCM so it dosent look like crap. The quality of the install is also relative to the quality of the drivetrain you purchase.

Yeah I was reading about the air conditioning issue, I have read their are certain ways around it, but I dont think AC will really be an issue for me. As I am looking to buy a T Tops shell, or a convertible and if I dont have AC at least I would have air from the outside. The PCM I have not read much about, I just knew I Would need to get the proper one. I have also read the fuel lines need to be modded a little. Seems like its not too difficult.

Do you own a shop or something? Whats a legit price for something like this based on your experience?

The web site and phone number is in my signature below.

Thanks

^ If you were in New Jersey, Miller Performance would have it done for you in a matter of no time. There five minutes from Raceway Park. I'll see what I can find out though in respect to your location, in reference to a credible installer....

I do appreciate that, I am not however looking to spend 3 grand on the install. I was looking around a G or so. I have no problem lending a hand for however much time needed. Thank you.
