I'm looking for any and all third gen owners in WNY, I'd like to start a meet out here and also recruit for NYThirdGen if I can. I am the spokesperson for the WNY section of NyThirdGen. We've been able to coordinate a few statewide meets recently and I'd like to have more third gens cruising in from WNY. Imagine the Thruway lined up with Trans Ams, GTAs, Z28s, IROCs and everything in between! Hit me up if you're interested.
Thanks,
Shane.
Thanks,
Shane.

WWW.WNYGM.COM. Check it out. Site was built because NYthirdgen did not want anything to do with me 2 years ago. So I decided to go out on my own. Doing fine so far. Definitely a nice looking site! Anything GM is welcome, Come check us out!

Anyways, NYThirdGen has actually changed quite a bit since my join in 2010, and me,shane and a few others pressuring to make the Club Statewide. Now we've got plenty of Members across the state, and we have Upstate Meets, Statewide meets, Cruises, Car shows, Track Rentals etc and so forth and more, Shane is trying to get more members in WNY Area to do their own thing aswell and make us even bigger

I sure do remember it just like that... This was awhile ago but the name leaves a bad taste in my mouth. All meets were on Long Island and no one was willing to do any traveling to do a meet farther away. I was just told to try to find members upstate who wanted to do a meet up here.... Plus you say you had to pressure the guys on the site to make it statewide? Doesn't NYthirdgen imply that idea already? Exactly my point..

If and when mine ever gets done... I might be in for some get-togethers.
Right now, I need rotors and drums just so I can move my baby 100 feet or so, so that I can get her to a neighbor's garage to get the patches welded in (don't have a 20A source in my garage), and then we'll see what happens... Anyone have any they're planning on junking? I'll give you more than the scrapper will.
Used to live in Medina. Never liked that town, but I did buy my car from a guy on East Shelby Road...

Im from Akron, NY. I would like to do some cruises. Im looking into swapping my 3.08 gears for some 3.42. I think that would be the best for the lb9ho t5 combo. Im leaning towards yukon gears. My buddy has a 1988 Pontiac Formula Lb9. We would enjoy driving with fellow 3rd gen lovers.

LMK if you would be interested in taking a drive out to Clifton Springs... EVERY F-body they have there, except for the second gen, is a V6. There are 3-4 there that most likely have a 3.42 rear in it. They're probably not lockers, but they've got the right gears. I'm looking to go there to get 4th gen interior parts...Originally Posted by 88camarofreak

I know there is a yard in Holland and that 2060 in Buffalo (there's a few yards on the same road as 2060 you might want to poke around in) that have 3rd gen parts.

Hey Dan, when would you be heading out to Clifton springs?

I need to make some phone calls regarding getting rid of the Bird so I know how much money I'll have to go (and how much work I'm going to need to do to get that money). Was going to do it today, but I think it may have to be Monday.
I'll let you know a few days before I plan on going.

I joined up at NY thirdgen a few weeks ago. I went to the lockport Monday night cruise (late, and in my truck) last week and didn't see a single thirdgen there. Are you guys actually going to go up there now and then?
