about the club thing i guess no one wanted to just jump in head first and start one. u have to have good organization skills and what not. it be cool that have one locally. somethin where we can meet up once in awhile shoot the ****. showcase our cars and stuff. as for that guy it pisses me off when people just come in and say " oh my car is better, my coast has better cars". im not gonna say my car is the fastest on the board or anythin. but my car can hold its own. and if my car can't do the job i know alot more that can.

I tried to e-mail you back with my phone number to discuss the club but i got no replies...i'd love to talk to you or anyone else about the club...i havent really been doing much due to my wife is expecting triplettes so i've been very busy. I plan on going to the Camaro/Firebird day at the Museum of Transportation in Brookline mass to show my z-28...I'd love to hook up w/ some cool third gens to cruise there.

Was anyone at N.E. Dragway last night? I saw one third gen there. It was a late 80's IROC, grey with silver ground effects. It was running in the 14's, and it kept roasting a new Lexus GS400 over and over again. The Lexus redlighted a couple of times, and the Camaro still beat it every time! I want to go up with my new 79 T/A after I get some exhaust on it. This thread has been great, I agree. I hope it keeps going for a while. BTW, if anyone needs an 83 Z28 parts or project car, check out my ad on the classifieds board.

a white T/A? Only car out there that's a really fast thirdgen is the white forumla 350. Which doesn't have a 350 in it at all. And besides no one in their right mind goes out to plymouth ave. anymore. You're asking to get your car impounded.

 

I HATE PLYMOUTH AVE WITH A PASSION. I got a ticket there for "trespassing". All i did was sit at the shaws and they gave me a ticket for $250 so I gought it and they were like screamin at me the sherif and the magistrate it sucked i thought they were gona kill me but they let me off cause they had no right to give me a ticket. Dont ever go there it sucks ***.

 

yep it definitly sucks..that's why everyone should come down to gary's best in new bedford. Anyone that was big into the racing in fall river comes down here now. It's great for me it's less than a minute from my house.

I live in Milton, and we have a few pretty nice thirdgens around here. I know Norwood like the back of my hand, my grandparents lived there. Whereabouts do you work?

Is there any thirdgenners from central Mass/Worcester area???? I live in Leominster/Worcester and I have three 89 Firebirds: 89 Formula 350(t-top, white, 91/92 lookalike, lots of mods), 89 GTA(hardtop, 350, bone stock, ran 14.2 at Epping), and an 89 Formula 350 ASC convertible(red, going to get a complete resto). A friend has a TTA, two other friends have three IROC's combined. So that makes 7 cars between 4 guys from here. Other than that I havent seen much around here at all. I would like to know if anyone around here has a thirdgen that they like to show off. Maybe we can meet locally and hang out, trade info, show off our cars, help each other out and maybe start up a small "thirdgen only" club. I know theres clubs like Firebirds Forever car club around but they seem too spread out and the thirdgens(underdogs) get lost or pushed aside especially amonsgst the second and forth generation models. I would like to see a bondship like the TurboBuick guys have. I also have tons of thirdgen parts(from trim to 350TPI drivetrains to bodyparts etc...) that I have available. I know that there are plenty of thirdgens down in the RI, south shore, Middleboro, Taunton, Seekonk areas(look in the want ads for thirdgens for sale and there mostly from down there) so you guys shouldn't have any problems forming a huge club there. I would like to come down to one of your venues soon and see all those thirdgens. It would be cool. I just cant do the weekly cruises etc.. like I want to to everything specific to the south shore area. I just wanted to know if anyone locally wanted to start up anything around the Worcester area. i'm from the worcester area and 3 other thirdgen owners had started a club called mass thirdgen but it evolved into New England Fbody. Maybe in the spring we can re-construct Mass Thirdgen to support the thirdgen chapter and provide an easier meeting place for worcester county area people. There are 4 of us who were at our only Mass Thirdgen meet, and if you have 7 cars yourself that would be a decent little turnout for a central mass mini-gathering.

 

Hi there. That would be very cool to reconstruct Mass Thirdgen. I know Im up for that. Well have to keep in contact. What thirdgens do you 4 have? The only car show in the area thats very good is the Heberts car show every Thursday off rt20 in Shrewsbury during the warmer weather. There are a few thirdgens that pop in from time to time but its a very good place to meet in large #'s and show our cars for all to see. Or we can just meet somewhere and just show off in just a thirdgen gathering. Very cool indeed. Ill post a new thread to try and gather everyone together. STEVE Z
