met a cool dude and his iroc last night
at work some guy pulls up in his 88 iroc looks stock except for his cowl hood. i asked him to pop the hood so he did.. and ehres the scoop.. he got a 350 with holly stealthram, some crazy heads, cam, exhaust etc etc... anyways he pulls 11.2 on the 150shot nitrous. he doesnt even own a PC so i cant get him to sign up here, but he is interested in joining us up when we have our meets, so this next one terrel is setting up has got to be the best to introduce our next thirdgen member.

If so, yeah, that was me in the gray one. When you ran into me on 50, my engine was still stone cold (I just left the house) so I wasn't about to give you a go, at least not till she warms up and the oil thins.

Doodz, don't get me wrong here, this is not to demean or minimalize/trivialize you in any way. BUT... I have too many other things going on in my life at this time, which have higher priority on my time and money. Right now, I put only enough money into the IROC to keep it running. Eating and paying the mortgage and bills have higher priority. Also higher priority is my music stuff, I have to get 2 guitar amp speakers reconed, and I need to buy another speaker cabinet and high power 15 incher.
If I get the job I am trying for, all that may change, as I'll have enough cash again. What I really want to do is get something else as a daily driver, and completely restore and upgrade the IROC. New paint, new windshield, new headliner and fix the seats. Rebuild the 9-bolt, beef up the T5, new brakes, new clutch, and replace the LB9 with a modestly built TPI 5.7 (4-bolt roller, enough to get her comfortably into the mid 13s) which will still pass smog. Also new shocks, panhard, torque arm and bushings. Probably wouldn't hurt to replace the stock u-joints while I'm at it. If this happens, I'll be glad to join you at your meets.
I hope you understand.

aww...come on now...we got soem slow thirdgens, we got some that are in need of attention...its all about hangin out enjoin the show even if your iroc needs some attention bring her down to the next meet...
