Ohh man did that make my weekend. Passed ASM 25 roller test first time. 100 % CA emissions compliant.

Just goes to show given the proper attention to parts, a good amount of tuning and of course a thick money clip - a s/b 355, 10:1 cr making almost 300/400 is doable even in CA.

Feels good to know that I am doing my part to keep our air clean . . . .

After the previous owner failed smog numerous times and even produced gross polluter status on my '87 I was jumping for joy when a little bit of tuning and modifying got my 350 to pass CA emissions for my 305 car, first time I took it in.

It was the standard enhanced 15/25mph loaded test. As deezl put it, I was literally jumping for joy when my built 355 passed the emissions test that my weary old 305 got tagged as a GP.
