nor cal forums anybody?
ok we were shot down for having nor cal forums.. not even considered.. sucks. so anyways..
i do have some l33t website skills and I have no problem buying a domain and setting up our own forums. I need your guys support though that this will work. a seperate website dedicated to nor cal f bodies (for you with 4th gens
that you dont gotta worry about being banned for off topic or whatever. not that we gotta leave tgo behind. but ya know.. our own hangout spot. i believe we got the numbers to make a nice community. like i said though, give me your support. i will make it happen.
www.norcalfbody.com sound good?

Yeah I think there are other options.
Either attempt to revive the old 3rdgen boards,
or why not use the site we have already. ..duh.
..norcalthirdgen.com could easily support a small forum, no?

I really don't want to start posting on 3rdgen.org. I would rather start our own like Travis said or use our site we currently have, norcalthirdgen.com. I am willing to donate money once we all decide.

Hey guys, just to clear a few things up - I'm still down with everyone and it really sucked to miss dyno day. But beyond that, once or twice a year at the strip is enough for me. Just too hot, too loud, and not enough driving for shellin' out 50 bux.
The bay area meets we used to have meant all day cookouts and drinks followed by a close-up one by one rundown of everyone's car (no matter what condition), what they've done to it, how it runs, and what they plan to do. It was more about the people and the cars they drive. Come to think of it, other than nate and steve I don't see any of those guys on the boards anymore.
The reason I don't post too much is becuase I really do believe TGO should be a technical forum. Non-tech topics are just not why I come here. When the topic is relevant I'll put up my advice.
And yeah, I thought about selling my car. I even bought one of those signs. It was a joke - I couldn't bring myself to get within 10' of the car with sign in hand, and in the last few monts I've still spent another thousand or so on it, so that answers that. The bird stays, and just keeps gettin' better.

Me too Alex, I understand why you don't come around much either, it's all good. Hope to see you around sometime and see what's been done to the bird lately.

I don't go in June/July when it is scorching hot either.

Glad to hear you are keeping the 'bird. Definitely try to make it out to irocdaddy's meet, that seems more up to your "standards", I'm anxious to see the new paint job!
