Its Its Alive

well almost got a few things to tidy up,

well i was mis informed about the head studs i was told not to use any sealer or locker, well im payin for it some coolant is seeping through the threads on some of them,

the headers i painted , the paint is burning right off...that sucks oh well, and my heater core is leaking hella bad.

but *** does the motor sound mean now i got to fire her up and break the cam in and rev her up man i cant stop thinking of hearing the motor run its so obnoxiously loud you cant hear when holding at 2 grand and i love it im going to just get a cat hollo it out, and run straight pipe, hehe,

im gonna take the headers off and take all the high temp paint which doesnt stay on, than im gonna pull a few of those head bolt which ever ones leaked one at a time than re torque it put some sealer in there despite what i was told. she will make it to the track wed now

Way to go Eric!

I bet you were crapin your pants with all that smoke.

My valve covers didn't fit properly at my first start up and the leaking oil caught fire. I was so worried I had wasted my fresh motor but I got the fire out before it caused any damage.

holy sh*t it i think i blew my ear drums out fawkkk it sounds good 2 more problems left a leak out of the CRAPPY crome timing cover that doesnt fit right im throwin it in the garbage....

and a very small intake leak where i used an osh bolt

but the leak is so small it dosent cause any driveability issues.

exhaust exhaust exhaust my hears are riniging its cool to drive around on open y pipe but after 1hr its highly annoying.

and tuning tuning and tuning i cant stress how much tuning my car needs, it was extremly slow to begin but i took down fuel pressure and that gave me like what felt like 40 hp, didnt get to mess with timing i had it at 8btdc since my vss isnt working yet. hopefully by the end of the month ill have the other issues i rushed on fixed, like have my spark plug wires in a loom

and better valve cover bolts/retainers,

i think i need to re do that intake manifold i dont like the way it came out... since super ram is such a piece of sh*t i am pulling 10inhg of vaccum to 7inhg it fluctuates between but has no driveability issues, and tried carb spray, i just dont like how it came out

all in all she runs and drives again and its never felt better

Right on Eric, glad to hear things are looking better. Can't wait to see and hear it again. Are you going to take it to the track, or wait until you fix some more things and tune the car?
