hey im the new guy on this block of joining third gen thanks to my buddy's dad who got me into it after he saw me in my new car well new car to me anyways my 91 camaro rs 305 automatic which im hoping to cahnge asap i'll be at the gathering in fresno on the 12 at 3:00 pm. i'll hopefully have a pic of my car on here soon.

i notice your car has a sticker, what is calvin pee'ing on?

 

Ford and the round one is for the No dues cruisers (the people who i hang with on fridays, great bunch of guys, with nice *** cars!) most of the time im the only thirdgen there...

 

i have that exact sticker, in same location, except my calvin is pissing all over Honda.

I can take on any honda, not all fords yet..

 

Accually its a bit of a joke between me and my dad. .He has a 05 f250 4x4 with the v10, And has the same sticker but with the chevy bow tie, then my brother bought that sticker for me last christmas so i put it on, my dad came home off of a six month deployment, and couldnt stop laughing...

Tell you the truth, ford, chevy, dodge ect all all good companys, I dont mind driving anything besides imports. Infact.. I was looking at a 1995 ford f150 to tow the maro around a while back.

 

Glad to hear there's another 3rd genner in Cen Cal. I hope to meet you someday. I'm about 2 hrs from the valley.

What are you lookin to add? If you keep your stock fascia and trim/badges you might make an awesome sleeper! Just gotta get it reffereed @ smog time

lookin at a 3.4 swap, so i dont have to go to a ref (no different look from the 2.8 to the 3.4)

 

I see. What hp gain are you lookin at?

 

I believe the 3.4 block is around 200hp, i just want an engine thats a bit new then this 83 block.. the 2.8/3.1 to 3.4 swap isnt a performace swap

 

the 3.4 has 160hp

 

if its stock

 

k&n dont add 40hp :P

 

You should know that the K&N plus its stickers = over 100hp

I plan on doing a cam/head swap on it to get some more ponies out of the engine so i can atleast beat some of the **** around hanford

 

depends where you place teh stickers.

like your pee on ford sticker, the placement gives you +20hp only against fords though.

 

gotta add that to the sig.. and take some of the others out..


ya know.. If i place a Sphon sticker on the exaust.. perhaps it would make my cat stop raddleing.. Hmmm... and if i place IROC badges on the the engine would turn into a 350 ...

Anywho.. unless i come up onto a free 350 block (IE complete running motor) im doin a 3.4 swap.

 

if you put stickers on the cat, chances are, your car will just burst into flames.

we don't need another one of those.

There's a guy at my work who lives in the "valley" and his brother is selling a complete 92 for $1400. Don't know what your price range is though. Or if you want to go that route. Might be easier to trade up, rather than swap motors. If your interested let me know so I can tell him to get more info.
