Yes Crane golds 1.6 usually smack the stock valve covers.

I have some used tall polished covers for sale for $60 that will fit.

Did you remove the baffles?

I wasn't clear - I was also talking about the crane golds and they hit my stock valve covers. I had hardened push rods so I went with the guide plates and easy to find and rebuild Comp cams Magnum roller rockers.

My after market covers do not have metal baffles they use baffled rubber grommets that work fine.

JesasaurusRex - what heads are you using?
