no worries on the dust, i'll give it a full detail in/out when it's done.
it was in need of it anyways after sitting all winter too.

I bet the anticipation is killing you Del. Glad to hear she is coming along, can't wait to see her out again this summer. I miss hanging out with everyone and going on those nice summer evening drives. Plus we all want to see what she does at the track. Keep us updated and post some pics.

yep, it is killin' me. i'll snap some shots after i clean her up. i want to tint too.
i don't even have high expectations of how fast etc, i just know it will be sweet though.
the new job has taken my mind off it the past month or 2.
but now that the warm weather is here, i can't wait to cruise and race.
screw summer, let's roll next weekend, haha.
most of my other friends don't get out much cruising wise anymore, so i'm usually down to hang with y'all when i can get away.

Primarily, new heads/cam and everything else you'd need to do it right.

When I get my car to look as nice as Deli Sammiches, I wouldn't dream of leaving it in a shop.
It would be in my garage and I would be next to it with my 12ga
Either way bro, I hope it gets done fast!! (and right, duh)

Don't worry Vin, it's in good hands.

awesome.
dare we meet around Sunrise area?
definitely need to be on good behavior driving on main stretch of Sunrise.
i haven't been out there this year yet, so i don't know where it's hoppin.
hopefully there's a car gathering somewhere that we can drop in on, and find a place out in the Rancho boonies later.
maybe we just start off at Mel's on douglas and go from there.
comments? suggestions? participants?
i think i'll buy this neon sign Vin, hah.

Thant sign is sweet, it is just like the one I posted earlier, and in fact one of my old local bars used to have a lot of vintage neons in it which included that one.
It would be sweet in the garage

This Friday, sounds like a plan Del, I am down, in the GTO of course. I think a start at Mel's in Roseville sounds good, then let's take it from there.

Sweet.
Terrell, bring the CFI, no way. Then I will just get smoked all night long, as much as I would like to bring it out one last time. GTO is coming out, maybe by then we can have some true runs, hopefully I can shift better, and remember to down shift, lol. Oh, and it's still no guarantee I am not selling the CFI, I will let you guys know.

well, she's home now, finally.
dirty as all hell too.
i'm not used to the new rumble yet, but i think it sounds pretty good.
idles a bit rough, but the throttle response is even better than before.
didn't get a chance for any real good WOT driving yet.
sorry no pics/video yet, maybe after i clean her up i'll get some shots of the engine bay, for those who weren't at the shop.
i think most were though, hah.

Del is going to do his 5 hour detailing service at his house on friday so if anyone wants their ride cleaned and detailed, make an appointment now. hahahaha
He's taking a day off just to detail his car. Yup...SHOW-N-GO that's for sure.
BTW, try your A/C make sure it works. I left the A/C machine hooked up from sat. night til monday morning and the gauge did not go down.

[QUOTE=porkyzilla] come down and ill help you bang out those headers.
There's the problem. It's gonna leak.... You don't bang headers in foooooh. The proper term is "INSTALL" or "replace". hahahaha

i seriously could spend a few hours detailing it, but i'm just going to give it a quickie on friday if we're still meeting up in the eve.
i'm viewing houses all afternoon and watchin the kings game at a buddys' in the eve, so count me out on a all day hang out, hah.
i'll be at Bennie's shop in the morn probably tho to charge up the Supra's a/c.

when it's 106*, screw the t-tops.
might as well turn on the heater and have hot air blow.
steve - we are getting together at night, but i'm not sure if you'd want to make the trip just for that.
you betcha. the ultimate goal i'm striving for.
a/c works fine dude, thanks.

rotors are hard to lose bud, you must have a lotta junk in your garage.
they were in white boxes if that helps.
just need to sell off these last L98 parts and a box or two of supra parts and i'll be good.
who's showin' up tomorrow at mel's?
that's like on the other side for me, probably 1030 when i show up.
