I have a pro kit with 18x9's all around with 255/35/18's in the front and 265/35/18 in the rear and I have too much fender gap so you should be fine.

245/40/18 should be a 25.7" tire(stock height). the 275/40/18 should be a 26" tire. both will be fine even if you lower it some.

Your rear tires will be around 26.66" tall, so almost 1" taller than your fronts. Still, they should all fit. I have a 285/35/18 in the back on a 10.5" wheel and roughly a 2" drop with no rubbing. I've also had up to a 275mm tire up front on a 9.5" wide wheel (any wider and you are going past the fender lip) with just slight rubbing at full lock. So it can be done..

Yes, let me dig some up. It looks like crap because the clearcoat is peeling and I haven't gotten around to painting it.

Here's a pic with the hood up, it doesn't show the bad paint too much. The only thing different about the car now is the charge pipe you see under the passenger fender is now painted black and tucked up a bit further. Anyway, I think the wheel offset is about perfect.
