Grudge fest breakage fixed

Finally got my **** in gear and got the car back running tonight Replaced the set of crappy pushrods for 1 piece units so this chit doesn't happen again. Wish I could have put on a better show for you guys. Also replaced all the rocker studs with the proper length ones to work with comp's magnum rockers. Going to Redding dragstrip on the 9th along with (I hope) some Hoosier 28x9 drag slicks instead of the 26x11.50 quicktime pro's. 9 inches of tread vs 10 but the drag slicks should do a lot better

Here's what happened at the track

Then the locker replacement rocker studs

The end result is on the left with more threads in the polylock.

It ran home to mommy never to come back so, I don't know where it is hehe. Going to run the 250 shot this weekend with the new slicks, see if anything else breaks. If anything, I'm betting it'll be u-joints.

Everything looked fine on the lifter so I ran it hehe. Made 3 runs up at Redding yesterday. 12.30 @ 108.8 on the first and only motor pass, next couple were crappy nitrous passes with one being a 11.41 @ 113 mph as a best for the night

At least you're able to have fun with it

I've been wanting to do an LS1 swap for a year now

but first my mom died (expensive as well as deabilitating) then I had to move, then my other car blew up (actually, caught on fire) so now the Camaro's the daily driver. but then I had to address a bunch of little crap on it to keep it going for work... the list goes on

life don't want me doing this swap, lol

Sorry to hear about your mom eh, you'll get that sucker swapped in there some day hehe. I've wanted to re-paint my car for 3 years now and finally getting around to doing it.
