Parts keep rollin in...
Got 4 almost new wheels (245/50/16) and 2 front gold GTA wheels w/center caps delivered to my door today for $250
Also, got my dead-soft aluminum header gaskets from summit in today as well.
Got a MSD GM universal wiring harness for my 6A box, MSD Cap & rotor and blaster coil.
Got a line on a A/C Delete box too for $60, hopefully that'll be in before next weekend.
OOh, and the Heads / Cam / Rods / Rockers / Lifters / Big Mouth Base / Aluminum valve covers came in too!
I have boxes upon boxes sitting on eachother in my room lol
Now if I can only pass smog the White Knight might be cool

Ok cool, what's your friends name & number? And most of you guys know the parts I have and the 350 with 190K miles. What do I need done to the block and lower engine to handle my zz4 stuff? I shouldn't think I need forged internals or anything... no juice or power adder. But definitely some reconditioning & rebuilding is in order

Hey Mithril, not sure if you were around when I blew up my original engine, it Had heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and the first thing to go only a few weeks later was my stock rods.

Umm the rods connect the pistons to the crank, it's about as low as the bottom end as you can get besides the crank.

if u have new rods i suggest forged or hyper pistons im sure the crank will be fine along with new good bearings and rings not cheap kragen brand **** like travis did.

well with a basic rebuilt that would be stout with no power adders, i say keep ur crank but get some forged rods and pistons, also get some quality bearings. federal mogul are great for the price. also get some arp rod bolts. My friend name is jason. tell the shop owner that jason with the forged 87 red formula 350 and a black 91 forged vortec 350 requested ur assistance. tell rob what u looking for out of ur engine, what type of parts u have already, he'll tell u what u need. trust me he does awesome work.
