I'm confused. What is our corrupt state politicians up to now?
Will I have to have my 67' Camaro smogged if this passes?

The way I understand the link, all vehicles 15+ years or older wil be required a smog inspection every year. We need to be proactive about this stuff. Make your emails out and spread the word! Remind them that Hot Rodding started here in CA.

Re: CA Liberals at it again

I don't live in CA, but I wouldn't doubt that WA would next in line to do something like this.

I'm getting so tired of the state governments passing laws that were created, just to generate revenue. Plus I'm sure the auto makers love this one too, since it will force people out of their older cars and have to buy new ones.

I always love how our state makes you start emission testing after a car is 5 years old. Hmm, sure is convenient that is right about the time that the warranty on most cars is up. So the dealers won't have to pay to fix it, and it's up to the owner. I wonder how much lobbying by the automakers went into that one!!
