What left of the Catastrophe
I am still in the middle of dealing with the insurance company about what is going to happen to the car as it sit but am curious if anyone wants anything off of it.
What’s still good:
1) L98 engine with only 67, 8xx miles on it, the engine has Accel wires, new plugs, blaster coil, Ford 22 lb injectors, AFPR, Brand new water pump, and brand new mini starter, and all other accessories, ONLY thing needed is ECU and Wiring harness.
2) 700r4 which just had an oil change two days before the fire with only 67,8xx miles.
3) Aluminum driveshaft from factory only 67,8xx miles.
4) Disk Brake rear end with 3.27 gears only 67,8xx miles.
5) GTA rims painted black in very good condition, a little road rash but nothing too bad, which have Sumitumo HTR Z tires on them with maybe 300 miles.
6) NOS solinoids with hoses to the throttle plate
7) Brand new sock on Air Filter with a modified stock intake
This stuff I saw on the lift before lowered and removed and looked as if in good condition. I am just curious if anybody wants any of this stuff since its till perfectly good and will just get scrapped. If somebody wants the whole car then I am looking to get $800 for the whole car without the GTA rims (I will use the gold rims that I cant sell).
Please let me know within a couple days or at least express interest so I can decide if it will be worth it to keep the car. I have AAA and they can help tow it plus extra money A (still cheaper than regular tow company) to help move the whole car if need be.

doh!
I was thinking about the d/s and rear for my V6 project Mike.
I would think Bennie would use the parts more than try to restore the car.
ANyway, why does everyone need a new rear end? I KNOW why I do but if you have a posi already, wtf?

Damn, I second that rear end comment! There are still those of us who are riding those 2.73 open rear ends all over town

One subframe is completley on the car, and the only thing that structurally should need repair is the roof which started to sink from the heat.
Ihaven't officially posted but is anyone interested in My NOS bottle heater, NIB?
