bye bye!

well knew it was goin for a while

but straight to the pics story at the end:

damn this red camaro following me

this jerkface is right on my tail....it better pull my hair if its gonna ride my ***.

the end fu stay in the garage!

ok so im cruizing on 50 takin the girl for a ride in the iroc for our anniversiry

just got on cruzin about zinfandel when i see this blue gto commin up kind of fast so he pulls up and i know already kick it down and we start goin at it on 50 in 5o clock traffic.... oh hey its kyle....race is on bish

so we are goin at it allthe way till he gets off at like bradshaw i slow down and start cruizin and exit watt ave and as soon as i get off "tick tick tick tick" than "knock knock knockidy knock knock knock"

yep lower end is knockin bad

good race kyle, pos chunk of junk went out in style. the funny part is i listed it for sale last night ..

so now the plan is buy a short block from my work "kragens" and slap that in with having my friend who is attending ar redo the heads for somethin to do ill take it to a machine shop afterwards for resurfacing and pressure checkin his work lol.

so pull the engine and the t56 this time and put in a 5 speed replace the engine and sell her....time to move on.

good bye turdgen hahaaha

Re: bye bye!

I thought it was getting repo'd just from looking at the pics, but then I realized somebody would have to want it first, haha. -jk

A shame the red dragon has to end its era like that, but that's how it goes sometimes.
I thank you for your 3rd gen participation over the years and I'm sure you'll still be sticking around after the sale bud.

Re: bye bye!

no i dont care about that engine i knew it was goin anyway....with the loss of oil pressure.

ill be stickin around not like im not gonna stop hangin/helpin you all

ill be out of the thirdgen area for a little while for sure

i just dont want to drop a whole bunch of money into this iroc for nothing. its not a hard top which is what my heart dire's

so maybe ill buy a cheap iroc off cl for like $800 non running or some **** i dont know yet but for sure i need to get rid of the red dragon.

and pay off all my debt...ill probably have a garage sale here in a little bit.

Sounds like a good idea. You have too much stuff in there.
I'd hold off on another 3rd gen till you're settled.

What is a normal oil psi when on the freeway at 65mph? Mines been kinda low at 30-35. If the gauge is correct, am I in for a similar fate? Thanks, Daniel U

Re: bye bye!

no yours is ok.....

at idle if its at the first line or below than you have somewhat of low oil pressure.

mine used to never go below 30psi .

technically minimum specs to gm manual is 12psi at 1K rpm and than like 5 psi for every 1k rpm or something. technically mine only went below specs when comming to a hard stop it would drop to 0' but those specs suck

Re: bye bye!

Thanks, I'm not in a position to put more $ into my IROC as my project '54 is consuming all extra $ I have. Thanks again for the info. I thought I used to have better psi before, but maybe I was mistaken.
