Green Flag Driving

I've mentioned this before, but never opened a thread for it. I've participated in this before with a few of my other car enthusiast buddies. Its fun, but it does cost money. I think I paid $330(about the cost of a speeding ticket ) for the day at Mazda Raceway(A.K.A. Laguna Seca) in the Monterey area. It's what are cars we're designed for though, cornering hard. Re: Green Flag Driving

I got to put the T56 in and I am there. My 700R4 is starting to go. I have to baby it, so no racing around for awhile.

Re: Green Flag Driving

You'll save your brakes with the T-56 anyways. The time I went, I boiled my brakes! I flushed/replaced the fluid with higher temp. fluid. and would still feel better with the manual trans.

If I ever decide to get a new clutch for my blue car, I'd love to go....

Re: Green Flag Driving

That sure does look like fun.
About 2-3 hours away, not too bad.
Probably wouldn't take my GTA, but I'd definitely bring my 4th gen for kicks.

I would do this in a heartbeat if my car was prepared for it.

Re: Green Flag Driving

Well if RU-QWIK and Camaero get there transmissions fixed and TraviZ gets his IROC finished, it sounds like we might have another GTG later in '08. My car won't be ready to drive there, but I'll bring it for the day. I talked to the wife today again about a GTG at our place, summer '08. She went and got a Camaro T-shirt. That tells me she's down for it. I got a few more projects to finish before the summer so the back yard will be ready to host company.
